My Journey
My journey into bodywork began through my early apprenticeship in Martial Arts and Traditional Chinese Medicine. During this time, I was introduced to the deeper relationship between movement, injury, and healing. Under the guidance of my Sifu, I learned not only how to rehabilitate my own sports injuries but also how to help others restore function and reduce pain. This training exposed me to hands-on therapeutic techniques such as traction, tui-na, joint mobilization, neuromuscular therapy, and specialized injury recovery methods rooted in both traditional and modern approaches to healing.
Alongside my martial arts training, I attended Grossmont College where I pursued studies in Sports Medicine.
I later enrolled at Healing Hands School of Holistic Health, where I completed 1,200 hours of formal training and earned my Holistic Health Practitioner certification. My studies there included a wide range of disciplines such as therapeutic massage modalities, herbal medicine, visceral mobilization, somatic movement practices, Reiki, and nutrition.
After graduating, I began my professional career at Zen Sanctuary, a respected holistic spa in San Diego. After relocating to Ojai, I joined Ojai Massage, where I have continued to grow my practice over the past three years. Two years ago, I also joined the Ritz-Carlton Bacara.
Although I have been practicing professionally for five years, I have had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients—from injured athletes seeking rehabilitation and performance recovery to older clients who simply want to move more comfortably and live without chronic pain. These experiences have allowed me to develop a well-rounded approach that combines therapeutic precision with restorative relaxation.
My goal in every session is to help clients reconnect with their bodies, restore healthy movement, and leave feeling both physically relieved and deeply restored.
