This isn’t just bodywork and its not your average personal training session.

Here we combine postural alignment, neural re-patterning, and strength training mixed with energetic and fascial techniques. Which helps you get out of pain, move better, and build athleticism at any age.

By combining ancient movement modalities with nutrition the most up to date body research you can find holistic healing

Through manual and guided fascia release we alleviate stuck muscles with slow movements, isometrics and proprioception work to rebuild movement patterns.

When we rebuild better patterns we allow for full body movements to integrate and train new muscle sequencing.

All in all this helps you recover, improve performance, reduce the risk of injury and build your own ability to address future injuries when they occur.


My Approach

Body Balancing Active is my offering to the health and wellness world. Using my background in Sports Medicine and my experience as an athlete, massage therapist, and martial artist with many injuries. I saw what was ailing me and so many other athletes, ex-athletes and every day people.

I also could see how physical therapy and massage helped but never would take person to the next level to get out of pain fully or to get back to a level of activity and freedom that they would like or even get them back into sports.

How it’s Done

In this approach, I combine hands on bodywork with Applied Neurology, Nutrition in both TCM and modern perspectives, Neuromuscular stabilization, traditional Martial arts practices, and modern performance training theories. Together we build your neural map and straighten out the misbalances contributing to chronic pain and recurring injuries

By taking the time to develop these skills and fine tune your senses your body will begin to regulate itself.

Not only can old injuries fade away but you can learn to address new pain as a signal for change. Usually all that extra mental and physical energy you get back, that was being spent on an injury or impairment, can result in; better sports performance, more energy, clearer cognition, and more enjoyment out of life.

Three Tiered Approach

Tier 1

Weekly in person sessions  +  a customized program for you to follow along with at home. Updated weekly

Sessions include

  • movement testing

  • manual fascia release/massage

  • coaching you through form and the new exercises for the week

  • Real time feedback, any flair-ups or changes you can contact me any time for help.

Tier 2

2 in person sessions/month.

  • one 60 min massage to evaluate tissue health and do a client/therapist introduction

  • 1 movement evaluation session to see how you move and what your compensation patterns are

  • A 1 month movement program to turn your problems into strengths

Tier 3

While it is not a custom program nor as in depth as 1-1 training,  we still target the major joint dysfunctions, common pain areas  and give you some tools to help with self evaluation and recovery.

You will get 

  • a monthly membership with access to the Body Balancing online programs. 

  • access to the community app where you can ask questions/ submit videos and request feedback.
